Now let’s discuss the performances of both the teams!

SRH and RCB, both the teams have played only one match till now out of 5 matches played this IPL season 14.

RCB got a great victory in the 1st opening IPL T20 tournament against MI, the defending champions whereas SRH lost their first match to KKR(Kolkata Knight Riders).

It will be an interesting event to watch as both the teams will follow an aggressive approach to win. SRH will try to get at least 1 point and RCB will try its best to maintain its pace and momentum.

Head to Head Details: SRH Vs. RCB

  • Total Matches Played: 18
  • Won by SRH: 7
  • Won by RCB: 10
  • N/R: 1

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

SRH owns some outstanding bowlers like Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi that took 2 wickets each. Next in the queue are Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T. Natarajan with one wicket each in the record.

It was Jonny Bairstow (55 runs in 40 balls) and  Manish Pandey (61 runs in 44 balls) who contributed a lot in scoring on board.

David Warner, Wriddhiman Saha. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Sandeep Sharma could not meet the expectation level. So it will be amusing to watch their performance in the upcoming match.

The middle-order, especially the lower middle order of Sunrisers Hyderabad looks weak due to the lack of any explosive finisher in the team and Sunrisers Hyderabad must be looking to improve on that front.

Moving on to Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB)

We hope this 14th season of IPL proves to be lucky for RCB. Whether it’s about batting, bowling or wicket keeping area; the IPL team has balanced players now. With the players like Devdutt Padikkal; the team is looking even more confident now.

Glenn Maxwell (39 runs in 28 balls) and AB de Villiers (48 runs off 27 balls) also contributed to the team with their winning performances.

And Harshal Patel with an impressive performance in leading the Purple Cap list by picking up 5 wickets.

Virat Kohli will try to score even more runs as in the last match (33 off 29 balls).

We expect the Playing XI’s of RCB will remain the same except for the Devdutt Padikkal.

Weather Report

Match 6; Pitch Report: Chennai Stadium, Chepauk

Chennai Stadium has always proven best for bowlers, unlike Mumbai stadium. Considering the dew factors, chasing is a bit easier here. So it’s better to field first as the winning chances of chasing the team are around 54%.

Average First inning score: 163 runs

Probability of winning the match:

As per our prediction, RCB has the highest potential to win the match. With the previous victory against MI; they are already confident. Whereas SRH needs to improve on the batting area.
